Noisetrade.com is a website where artists and fans can trade music for free.  It’s changing the way we appreciate and listen to what artists have to say.  Musicians can now personally connect with their fans and gain support by giving them high-quality, studio-edited tracks.  With a variety of genres from great artists, you are given two ways to download such art:  1) pay whatever amount you wish in support of the artist or 2)  email FIVE friends about an artist for a FREE download off their album.

Derek Webb (Founder of NoiseTrade.com) says it best, “Who needs peer-to-peer when you can have artist-to-fan? If artists and fans realized how they could help each other and started making direct connections, without a middleman, the whole industry would change overnight. It would start a revolution.”

This would definitely make it easier for musicians to stick to their craft, rather than altering their talents to fit the needs of the record label.  Great site, great insight.
